At Critical Engage, our journey began with an unknown streamer.
While browsing through Twitch one evening in 2018, I came across a talented content creator whose shoulders slumped with visible dejection as they streamed to an empty chat. In that moment, I felt their disappointment as if it were my own. All that creativity, passion and effort met with silence.
As an empath, this experience stayed with me. I couldn't stop thinking about the countless talented streamers and indie developers pouring their hearts into their craft without the audience they deserved. Not because they lacked talent, but because they lacked the marketing expertise to stand out from thousands of others online.
That's when I realized: my background in social media and community management could bridge this gap. I founded Critical Engage with a simple mission-to help passionate gaming creators focus on what they do best while we handle the rest.
